MIDDLETOWN, NY - Michael Storms continued his top-five points status in the DIRTcar big-block Modified division at Orange County Fair Speedway with a 13th-place finish last Saturday.
Storms qualified the Vinnie Salerno-owned No. 4* through the heat race, started the 30-lap feature fropm 15th and crossed the stripe 13th on a tough-to-pass five-eighths-mile oval. He remains fourth in the standings.
On Friday night, Storms subbed for Brett Hearn in the Four Star 358-Modified at Albany-Saratoga (N.Y.) Speedway. Hearn was competing in the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series Canadian Swing. Storms was seventh in the 358-Modified headliner.
